Hypnosis

I had someone try and hypnotise me, they tried several times but it didn't work. It doesn't work for everyone, you have to be relaxed in the situation and be a suggestible type of person.

It can work for everyone, you just have to be agreeable to it. If you don't want to be hypnotised then it won't happen.

It's an interesting experience. Like being super alert but also ultra relaxed at the same. It works well depending on the circumstances and contrary to popular belief, you have complete control the whole time. You remember everything and can take yourself out of it at any moment.

Cool! I had no idea that was the case. I asked out of curiosity.

I used to be a total sceptic until I saw my wife go under during the pre-show of an Hypnotist.
She pleaded and cried for me to get her hands apart because she didn't want to go on the stage but I couldn't do it.
I then went to another party where a local Hypnotist was on and I knew 100% that some of the people who got up would never do that stuff in a million years.
I can't be hypnotised and I've tried at least 10 times.
I can't empty my mind, there's just too much going on.

It's amazing what the incentive of money will do.
I am joking, but the mind is pretty vulnerable for all kinds of trickery so it sounds pretty rational.

I personally don't believe it works, but then I've never had it done.

Depends what people mean by 'work' - stage hypnotists are able to get people to do ridicules things however most of that is simply down to the fact that there is an element of co-operation/compliance from the participants due to being on a stage in the first place.

There was an article in a sunday paper/mag a few years back where a journalist was hypnotised and then when she was awake could get drunk without drinking.

She would basically say to herself " having another drink" and her mind would then make her slightly more drunk and so on.

Always thought that would be ace. Stumble out of a club in front of the police crawl upto my car stand up tell myself I'm sober. Be sober and drive home.

Plus it'll be a damn cheap night out

Found a video to another one
