Hi Merlin,
I'd guess Dan's downforce is fairly low. High downforce yields slower laptimes due to the long straights. I'm still tinkering with mine, currently using F4 R1. The middle sector is killing me at the moment. Hooking a clean lap together is proving a real challenge.

Lol I forgot to get a screen again. Going to have another go in a bit but have a screen of a mid 26 ill post up later. I've settled on 2 front 0 back for the minute.

Ah right. I tried zero downforce a few days ago, then settled on default 10/10. I was about to try F2 R1 but might as well go with your F2 R0.

Not quite matched the time I got earlier, but close enough. Seems I need a 4WD car to be competitive, same as last season(s).

There must be some cuttage going on in sector 1 what i don't know of, but looking at Merlins video it seems you can the entry to the 2nd chicane in sector 1 but is it legal on the autolog?

I saw that, been bugging me to be honest. I don't like it but if the game is not disallowing laps like that what can we do?

This is all I got so far this week. This was a good lap too so god knows how you guys are so far ahead.

Those videos a few posts back don't look real to me!!!

If by 'caught' you mean catch me up timewise, I'm under no illusions that won't happen, you are a great driver. If you mean 'caught' as in doing something naughty, don't make me laugh. I have nothing to hide.

FWIW there's very little cutting going on in my laps on this track but if you try reading through the hundreds of posts from the old seasons you will see plenty of discussion about where you can cut and get away with it, it's part of this game. And, shock horror, I don't remember one person ever having any sort of problem with it. Maybe that's why those seasons had a lot more participants, and were a lot more fun? As I have already said earlier in this thread the game has it's rules about cutting and they are the rules I will adhere to, not yours. I'm sure you are used to 'serious' sim racing but this isn't it and never has been, which is why I play it.

Last time I checked, this was still Nikaz' thread, and I will continue as I always have done unless Nikaz has any objection, which based on earlier posts such as this I doubt.
