I really al loving forza I have decided Iwant a wheel now. Anyone tried the xbox 360 wireless speed wheel? So many mixed reviews - or can anyone recommend any relatively cheap but good value wheels?

Just stay away from the Wireless Speed Wheel, I bought one through Expert Zone and it was awful.

As said, the only what I would class as decently usable wheel for a reasonable price is the official MS one, basically if you can pick up one of those for less than £100 your getting a good deal as last few i've monitored on eBay go for £100+

Other than that just the Fanantec wheels but your looking at £300+ for the set.

So I'd checked the reviews and wanted the hard wired one.
A deal came up last week for £20 off the wireless and it cost £20.

Played Forza 3 on it, played a lot of Forza 4 on it and I don't get where all the negativity is coming from, the wireless wheel is EXTREMELY responsive, the lock turn is easy and you don't sit like a plum on the couch thinking is this thing in full lock?
Slight adjustments take place immediatley, the bobble that you do with slight movements reacts on screen and in car, sitting with the thing locked in your lap makes it lock on screen.

I really do think that most of the bad comments come from two types of people, those who are pretty vain and don't want to look like a prat and those that won't admit that they are bad at driving. Take from that what you will but I think the wireless wheel is fine. I don't mind looking like a prat, I do outside, so on my own couch is totally acceptable :).

One other thing, after choosing to have one last game at 00:15 it's very easy to put the wheel away....

On a side note to Forza online, I've finished last in quite a few OcUK races, that's down to me not being able to drive RWD's properly, not the wheel.

Cheers, HIH.

MS wheel if you can find it is fine, never understood the problem people have with it, as it does exactly what a wheel should do. I bet if it had a Logitech sticker on it then the complaints would not be so much :)

Have you used an actual wheel e.g the MS one or a Fanatec for a decent amount of time on Forza?

Bit of a generalisation you made there, I live in my own flat so couldn't give a toss what I look like and am not too bad on my MS wheel ;)

I am sure the new Wireless wheel is responsive and a good alternative to the controller. But a racing fan like i'm sure the OP is, know a wheel is the only way to go :D

Neither, have not used any other wheel for xbox.

I guess it is a generalisation but in context I was only talking about the wireless wheel and it's benefits and the comments it's recieved against my thoughts, which if you read the OP he/she asks about specifically.

Cheers.
