As irriting and wrong as he is, is it not best to deal with people who are completely wrong using thought out, well reasoned and well balance counter arguments rather than just getting rid of them from the thread? Mind you I guess that doesnt work with ross hence the 20 page thread on full beams :p

I still don't know if the non-Mugen FN2's came with an LSD, does anyone know?
 
Just throwing in some boring questions, what's the mpg like for these when motorway cruising, and what kind of rpm to they sit at say at 70 in 6th?

Looking to chop in my Impreza and the wife's Yaris in for something semi sensible/semi fun and we both like these (Red, GT pack, standard wheels please).
 
Managed 40ish out of one at work with an almost completely motorway drive, this included the odd blat when joining/overtaking and then the rest of the time hovering around 70, can't remember RPM off top of my head.

Red one looks good, check the bottoms of the doors for rust.

Also worth considering is at next service think about different brake pads. Honda ones have some of the worst dust in the industry!

Mate, not looking to make it worse but just jog on out of this. We get it, you love the ST and we upset you. Lifes hard, move on and forget about it. I'm sure next time there is a "I'm thinking of buying an ST" thread you can jump in and rubbish the fn2.

Until then, stop being silly, just see the point that is being made rather than trying to make some big hoo haa about it.

The CW FN2's came with LSD's. Anything Mugen touch will also have an LSD.

Anything else won't.

it doesnt sound like Nath is bitter Ross? :confused:

His piddly little 1.4 engine is nothing to take offence over considering it hits 60 from still a staggering 0.4s slower than your burly 2.5L volvo. [based on the assumption that you have perfect gear changes to match that DSG and have filled with high octane fuel to ensure optimum running of your engine :)]

Then there is the handling, I have driven both of your cars and can assure you that the 1.4 pushchair out-handles the comparatively sluggish Focus ST.

either way, I suggest you make the most of your holiday
you can spend your time constructively and come up with new and exciting arguments for why we should all drive around with our lights off and run our cars on fish oil, or even new preposterous tripe to present to the forum members as unsupported fact.
