^^^^^ that's actually quite impressive for integrated graphics.

Sounds like the issue I've just started having (mines 5970+GT440 thu) on a new driver install where another GPU is named by Heaven (GT440) but your main GPU is being used.

I wouldn't worry about what Heaven says but make sure you post what GPU it did run on.

elrasho; your scores are pretty good there for a couple 5850s. I'd run it a couple of times to get your Min up as it should be above mine.

5850CF (905/1200MHz) | 5970 (800/1140MHz)

Scores: 1642 | 1622
FPS: 65.2 | 64.4
Min FPS: 26.5 | 28.2
Max FPS: 144.9 | 142.9

How does running it again increase the minimum FPS? Yeah I'm quite pleased with that score although my fans are much louder now. Trixxx shows temp at 65C under load.

Dave I love the dedication to the cause, portable AC... awesome!

Well My best run I recorded at 5760x1080 was... below (although did have a run of 99.9fps maximum, never reached 100 on a 950/5900, however cores just won't take it at that 24/7, so have to run 925 cores.)

Means I can run the fan on the card slower so it doesn't sap voltage away from the core, also disabled pretty much everything else on the PC. No artifacting either, so reckon I could go higher  These cards go insanely high (not mine)

What does yours score on 1680x1050 res?
It won't run mate, tried it... comes up with a DX error setting the resolution, mustn't be supported by these monitors I've got... can run obviously 1 screen at 1920x1080, not sure what scores though... probably not as high as you think, as this rig is more for eyefinity really... doubt the GPU's would be used well at 1920x1080... not sure, will run later, see what it does.

EDIT: If only BF3 scaled as well as Heaven does, which uses 98% of each core when benching, BF3 is CPU limited bigtime never going above 55% tops on each GPU core... such a waste of power really this Q6600 is showing it's age now!

Very late now so I hope this makes sense...

You could have had a spike of system activity that required system resources which dropped your Mins and/or Heaven's framerate fluctuates which does happen in other benchmarks. If you want, take a screenshot after each successive run to note the differences for your own curiosity.

It's been said here before that running it 2, ideally 3 times helps as it ensures uniform results. Normally you'd take the second or third screenshot for proof as the initial run was simply a warmup. Any anomalies should be ironed out because of the multiple runs.

Your GPU seems to have a good temp under load but I'd make sure your GPU fans are cranked up to around 80% for longer benches and stick the aircon on/window open (my house is fully insulated and the heat doesn't escape too well - benchmarking in Summer makes my office a sauna!)

I have no idea why it says GTX285 as that is a second GPU that only runs a second monitor.

The GPU that ran the Benchmark is a GTX580. The benchmark seems a bit low as well......

I want to see some 7900 series scores in here, for example;

7970 -
7970 - overclocked
7950 -
7950 - overclocked

Would be interesting where they sit on the board.

Anyone know when it gets updated too?

Cannot hear Gpu fans over the nosie of the fans in Antec 1200 case.

Lets not forget we are on driver release 1 from AMD more to come for sure. Upgraded from tri 5970-5890 difference in game is three fold mainly because of extra vram.

In game BF3 2560x1440 all ultra AA 4x never drops below 60 fps

Only bought my second gtx 460 1gb this month.(the other is like 16 months old)
It might be getting to "old tech" but for £110-120 brand new what can beat the bang for buck?especially if you already had one.
Could probly say the same for..whats closest? a 6850?
7970 is probly the only single gpu card you could definitely say is better than dual cards of those.(right now anyway:eek:)
