Nvidia 295.73 WHQL GeForce R295 Driver

Yey! installed these, upped Skyrim to Ultra on 1080 and its now as smooth as silk :D

Never realized how much extra little details there were on full settings (smooth shadows, sexy water reflections, decals and smoke effects)

Just goes to show ignorance is bliss :p
 
Out of curiosity, are you guys also using the CPU compiler optimizations patch for Skyrim? Not sure if this has been officially patched in yet, but the is an unofficial patch.
 
Had 2 mid game driver crashes when Playing the Old Republic, one of which locked up my PC so bad I had to restart my PC not played much else atm (bar Catherine on the 360)
 
I noticed tearing when moving desktop windows with the beta which was fixed with the last WHQL, happy to report this issue is also fixed in this driver.
 
What temps are you guys\gals getting while playing games?
The reason I ask is that my mate has a GTX 295 and when playing Skyrim his temps went from 75c to 105c the fan was set to 90%

Now he is back on 285.62 drivers and all is well.

Highest so far 77c during BF3 maxed at 1920x1080.

Performance seems similar to 295.51 and Skyrim purple texture bug doesn't seem fixed even though it's rare.
 
Wow, BF3 is MUUUUUUUCH more smooth BUT I also noticed with these drivers I pull 30 more watt from the electricity :S

I had this problem in the previous beta drivers and these latest drivers aswell.BUT...i have a solution ;).

Its actually fairly simple the position were you would normally see the text to select SLI mode doesnt show any text at all but if you move your cursor to the beginning of were the wording would be if it was visable you will notice your cursor change and all you do is left click.Keep trying because the sweet spot is only a few pixels in size but the option to select IS there trust me :) .

But who cares about +30w for gtx 480 sli? That's like crying that your lamborghini Diablo GT now does 6.5 mpg instead of 7mpg
