Silverpaw Prediction League Round 38 - 13 May

Just a quick thought on Euro 2012. We mentioned a few game weeks ago that we may do something for the euros if there was enough support. I've had a look at the fixtures and we could get 6 clear game weeks - 3 group stage rounds, quaters, semis and the final.
Timing all seems reasonable for people to get their predictions in.
Any thoughts. If you're up for it, let us know in this thread.

Having almost forgotten to do Lawro's predictions Freakitchen was looking very pleased with himself with a score of 14. What he said after i'd done them cannot be repeated on a family forum! Tiger Woops wasn't far behind on 12 Point. Congrats to you both.
i'll leave you all in suspense for the final table whilst FK puts his punditry hat on.

Not entirely sure whether the aforementioned 'punditry hat' really is for me. At any rate, let's have a virtual drum-roll...

Pigeon Killer obviously wanted a nice round score for himself at the end of the season, as he finishes bottom of Round 38 with 6 points! That doesn't stop him from being our champion, though, with 280 points. Shamikebab maintains his runner-up spot by 1 scoreline (said with absolutely no malice!
)
In the other prizes, Pigeon Killer wins the Scorelines award, with 45. That's three more than last year's winner.
In the 'consistency' award for correct outcomes regardless of scorelines, BaZ87 is our winner with 158. He finished second in this last year, so obviously knows his stuff
Here's the top 10 from last season for comparison - a great improvement all round! This is a good time for me to nod approvingly in the direction of Mr. Gary for how much better the tables look this year

Looking where i have ended you can't believe i led the table up to Jan then my performance followed that of my team Liverpool. It would be interesting to see my performance in the 2nd half of the season i might have been the worst.

Had a look at last years table and I finished 67 points better off this year with nearly 0.2 points per prediction more. Hopefully see a similar improvement next year

That's quite an improvement with the only possible explanation being that you've been using Kolo Toure's wife's slimming pills this season. I think we need to introduce drugs testing for next season.
