**COMPETITION: WIN A SHOGGY SANDWICH OR SLAMEPAD** (COMPETITION CLOSED)

Got mine in the post today, will do a quick review over the weekend :)

Need to order a side window for my case :)
 
Sandwich delivery this morning here too :D

It's replaced my previous high tech solution of 2 foam-backed scourers wrapped in kitchen roll. It's no better at insulating the sound and vibration in all fairness but it doesn't sag under the weight of my Eheim 1250 at all and is much less likely to move.

All in all a great little piece of kit and worth adding to your next OcUK order.

Mines been dispatched apparently but I cannot track it :/

Would this be down to the fact its awaiting to be sent or its arrived? (despite the fact it hasnt arrived)

Quick question, if it was sent today would I not receive it today? Or is it down to DPD on that front?
 
Received my slamepad yesterday

Solid and well built (its a sheet of metal)
The backing is really well made and attached
It comes with some "pro.pure aimtape" (a very generous amount that would probably do a dozen mouses)

Its so well made it will probably outlive us all! :eek:

Special thing is the anodising. Other companies tried and they fail at most actual popular mice. Mine doesn´t. :-)
aimtape doesn´t come in the box when you buy it, just added it for the winners.

And of course it´s for eternity, i don´t want my customers to buy twice. Little costier in the start, but it will pay off.

Would highly appreciate if all of you winners could rate and review the products in the store. :cool:

Is there any chance of a white version in the future CK-Slame?
 
First off my pics were taken in a fairly dark room so the flash was on. The pad looks a lot better than the pics give credit.

So first thoughts on the Slamepad.

Pros:

Very durable, cant see it breaking or being worn down if I am honest.
A nice matt black finish on mine, shiny when light is on it but nothing like a bin bag :p
Stays firmly on the desk
Thin
Very, very, very smooth glide
Overall very modern and stylish

Cons:

Finger prints leave grease marks, they are visible in light however they are easily wiped off and do not linger or effect the glide.

Unless your mice is rubber on the bottom it creates a loud noise almost like scratching when moving over the mouse mat. The provided aim tape stops this and works wonders on control of the mouse. However I do not know if this tape comes with it everytime? OcUK?
