electric shavers = recommendations please

My pappa has asked for one for his 65 birthday. Looking to get him a good one, just wonder if anyone can recommend a brand or type. Been looking at reviews and seeing what's what, but I'm a baby face boy and only need to run a cheap razor across the bum fluff twice a week

I use a norelco (called philips here) - some decent ones; triple head shavers; rechargable etc ...

I'll swear by this until I am blue in the face. A high end Panasonic. Closer than a wet shave on me. I have also tried all the other electric shavers.

I got Philips pt 730 does the job not too expensive.

Tried all the others but I've been using Braun for 39 years - superb.

Brawn and Phillips seem to have the best reviews.
