Really enjoyed The Desolation of Smaug. Bit camp and rompy at times (wasn't a fan of Stephen Fry's character, god help me :eek:

) with too many nods to the likes of Pirates of the Caribbean, but overall it was great fun.

Now I've just got to decide what other lenses I want to get. Pretty sure I'll get the 56mm f/1.2 but undecided on the 10-24 f/4.0 vs 14mm f.2.8.

I did the 'Faster Pass' at the Post Office, the lady behind the desk checked everything and sent it off Special Delivery, and it came back via 'Signed for' Courier...

Normal lead-time is 8 to 10 weeks as they check the forms at the other end (which can take aaaages!!), but as I paid the extra and the forms were checked this end it's 3 to 5 weeks! :cool:

Is that first passport? I'm sure I read for renewals its only like 3 weeks.

I got the forms checked this side as special delivery alone was like £6 so only an extra £2.20 or so to have them checked and pay there and then. Didn't opt for the super quick option so only paid around £82.50.

Need to do more exercise. So bought a set of rollers to use my bike on. Usually when I get home from work at 9PM I can't be bothered to go out, so I'll be doing an hour on these instead now.

First 10 minutes was full of profanity but once I got the hang of them it actually didn't seem too bad. The tyres do get hot though! I might have to buy some full slicks/trainer tyres.
