How will I ever sleep at night :p

Kaap - screenie shows 4 cards :p

4th card was sat there doing nothing with trifire enabled.:p:D

This is the reason I also did a new 4 card run to show the difference between 3 and 4 cards.

I really should turn the 4th card off on the mobo when benching as this gives a higher score with less for the CPU/cooling to do. If LtMatt starts getting close you will only see 3 cards on the screenshot.:D

Nice

Not gone for a 5960 yet Kaap?

Not yet.

After xmas I will get one for a gaming rig, I something with a bit of muscle to drive Civ5 late in the game.:D

I will also be on the look out for a full fat next gen single GPU to go with it, you only need one card with Civ5 but it needs a lot of grunt.:D

yeah baby new PB :) not sure how much more I dare go lol, bettered my previous by over 100 points, managed to keep temps down around the 60oC mark as well which surprised me for 1150 core and 1600 memory.

Hi,

i7 4820K @ 4.8GHz
295X2 @ 1130/1625
EDIT :

My third run with the brand new 295X2. Had some issues on the first run, with a lot of throttling, hence lowered the overclock of the 4820K just in case, and replaced the radiator fan with 2 Piranhas.

Second run (attached) had no throttling, but for some scenes the cards were working at 80% hmmm.....

Done. :)

@ Panos. your throttling may come from a CPU bottleneck, its a very CPU dependant benchmark.

Cheers mate. Is there to be beaten now :)

However throttling on a 4820K @ 4824, while on 3770 @ 4500 and i5 3570 @ 4200 gets better scores? Isn't that weird?

i7 4820K @ 4.8GHz
295X2 @ 1135/1625

seems is as high as it can get, before I go proper underwater. At 1140 is crashes half way. Maybe play with the mv voltage tonight after work. hmm
