M135i to go..

If it continues to look like it does in those photos i'm not overly enamored. Very bland looking. No nice lines. Just generally...boring.

The Gf's 12 plate Cooper has i drive and cruise, it's available if you pick the car with the options you want rather than the first one you see.

One Week on....

At around 6am on Sunday morning I met a couple of friends (BMW 1M and E92 M3 Coupe) near Chelmsford to begin our journey to Norfolk for the Pistonheads Sunday Service. Little did I know that the journey would turn out to be the best driving experience I've had to date!

This Mini on B roads / Tight twisty roads is simply mazing. The handling is like nothing I've experienced so far. Moving from the 1 series was most definitely the right choice..... For me!

Couple pics I took earlier today.

GT4 seems to be an odd branding choice.

Using the 911 system:

GT1 = Insane track car
GT3 = Significantly improved / stripped out 911.

GT4, not quite as raw as a GT3?

How was the sunday service at Zenos cars? I would have gone but when I looked it up it was well over 2.5 hours from the Midlands.

It was great. Best part about it was the drive.

Took about 2.5 hours in total to get there in the end. Enjoyed every minute of it. As for Zenos. The experience was very interesting. One of the co owners gave a presentation and held Q&A session. Got to learn about the brand as a whole and their new E10

On Saturday I sold the my Mini GP2.

This has been the most enjoyable car I've owned to date. Yes it's appearance was rather loud and the ride was harsh. But when you hit a b road you forget about all of that.

Massive amounts of lateral grip, great overall handling. Loved every second of it

I've sold the car because my career situation has recently changed (thinking about taking on a new role). As a result the Mini had to be sacrificed for the greater good.

What's next. Probably the C63. But not for a while yet.

Have you got something else in the interim or are you able to go without a car for a bit?

Have never needed a car. Everything I've had so far have been weekend / time off toys.

I commute to and from London via train
