That's a fair bit more than the competition are advertising it for, and over a hundred pounds more than MMD were suggesting for the retail price with their press release when this thing was announced.

What gives Gibbo, have you got all the stock and the competition are just trying to steal your thunder or has something happened in between the press release and the stock actually arriving?

Other competitors are in the £650-£680 region, we have the stock and stock is in shortage so we won't be selling sub £600 until stock is much more free flowing which will no doubt be around Feb-March next year. :)

With the VA screen is it a viable gaming monitor (not FPS stuff but racing/flight sims) or more suitable for office/productivity based on your experience of seeing it in the flesh?

With that dot pitch it's a much better proposition for use without scaling until Windoze 10 comes along with proper 4K+ support.

Not seen one, but VA's tend to be good and 3ms is quick, so I don't see any issues with gaming at all. :)

I'd get one of these as a Xmas pressie to myself if I hadn't just got the Acer on that mega-deal you just did m8 :D

Lush, and perfect for media whores such as myself

The RRP for these was £550 not very long ago. RPS had an article on it. Seems to have climbed a substantial amount for some reason. I shall wait for the price to become a sensible one, and not include supply and demand tax. Need a 4K monitor for reviews, and TN panels are pretty crap in terms of colour reproductions and IPS monitors are vastly overpriced. This seems a sensible middle ground.

Now this is a proper monitor for 4k :D.
Will be interesting to see if other companies come out with these sizes as I think 32 inches is the minimum required for 4k. Do we know if both hdmi ports will be hdcp compliant?
Thinking of hooking up my PS3 and PS4 to this.
