New case, well first build as well. needed an upgrade from a laptop I have been on for the upcoming witcher 3 and GTA V

Lots of mistakes seeing as its a first build and jumping into a water cooling build with metal piping was not as much fun! (but props to the gents who helped me in the watercooling thread)

Anyhows:
i7 4790k
ASUS z97 AR (aesthetics to match really).
Corsair Low Profile Ram 1600 MHZ 16GB
2 x Crucial MX100's 512GB
Custom loop
HX1000i with custom sleeves
In Win Tou (so expensive and overpriced but I love it :))

Sadly no GPU as of yet, waiting to see how the upcoming 980ti or R3xx cards can handle 3440 x 1440 that I have.

Apologise for this pics, the cases does not lend itself to being easily pictured as it reflects a lot of light in the crappy camera I have.

Cheers all, happy with the case, even though it was quiet abit for what it is. Sadly my personality is too impulsive and am now eyeing up a GPU for the build specifically the Titan X, Must resist! :D

Being a first build made some noob mistakes and actually brought the NZXT 820 which is now sitting in my garage. Thing was a bit too big :o

That's an impressive piece of kit! I wish you would have done a build log for it....do you have any build progress pics for it?

Cheers, the GF agreed to clean the case if I let her use the PC, so the hardest bit is sorted :p Having said that, she may not be my GF once she finds out the price, still thinks it was £150 quid

@ NMBlack,
I did take some pictures throughout, though the pictures are not great, odd snaps here and there with a camera phone. Will take a peek tonight and see if its worthy of a build log.

The NHD-15 is also so cool.. Thanks stulid and gang for helping me pick the right case.

New stuff:
Corsair AX860I
GTX 780ti
Fractal R5 case
Noctua Cooler

@Radox that looks really nice and clean!

glare/reflection of the monitor must be a pain no?

Thanks :)

Actually I never realized until you mentioned it. Generally when sitting at the screen the case is mostly in my peripheral vision so don't notice the monitor reflection too much.

Having said that between the hours of 7-9 AM recently, with the way the sun enters the room, there may aswell be a lighthouse being turned on
