The Fury(X) Fiji Owners Thread

Amdmatt any news in regards to the AOC monitor problem I'm having please bud? Contacted Ocuk for a DSR/RMA ( unsure if it's a monitor issue or AMD drivers) but was told I could face a reduction of up to 25% off my refund price due to it being used or some crap.

Had I known about it I'd have not ordered and got the free sync monitor instead.

latest firmware for the screen?

They aren't allowed to do that unless it has obvious signs of wear and tear, if it falls within the DSR period.

Roll of honor please MSI received on 26th

yes man, took it out of the pc because of coil whine to try and get it changed with oc but they wont do it!! plus waiting for active dvi dl to display port adapter for 120hz because i cant play 60hz anymore :p

Is it the coils or the pump making the noise? Amd have already said that's an issue so if its the pump they can't refuse a change.

In regards to the AOC monitor having issues with AMD cards, it and the Samsung listed above me had known issues on the AMD FirePro D700 graphics cards. Both had screen flickering and artifacts/image corruption. As far as I know there was never a solution found as it was due to the monitors themselves.

If The Fury X has the same issues, I doubt anything could resolve it bar a new monitor :/

I've checked the website, no firmware available.

That's the exact issue I'm having, it's terrible to use, putting the monitor to 30hz fixes it, but then I can't game at that, thus in my eyes the monitor isn't fit for the purpose I purchased it for.

Ive had it a week so within OCUK's DSR period, it's immaculate, I'll be damned if I'm losing money because I've taken the cables out of their bags.
Spent a lot of money in the last to weeks at OCUK, I'd like to think that I'd sort this without issue, I'm buying the Acer freesync monitor as a replacement.

Just bought all the bits for my FuryX Crossfire build.

DSR is dead, we're now on CCR which says:
'A deduction can be made if the value of the goods has been reduced as a result of you handling the goods more than was necessary.
The extent to which a customer can handle the goods is the same as it would be if you were assessing them in a shop.'

So if you've used it much beyond a basic turning on they can probably argue with you on it. Having said that, most retailers want a good reputation so tend not to be horrible about it.

Looking forward to updated reviews, see if new drivers move the dial any :) especially at 1440p.
