Well that's a dealbreaker for an matx board. It has a back plate I'm not sure you could sli without bending the cards at an angle and risking damage

Interestingly, in Windows GPU-Z correctly reports 1203/1304 boost. However Unigine Valley shows "Graphics: 1595mhz" in the corner... so it's getting the number from the same place as linux does. Anyone else seen an odd Graphics Clock number in Unigine Valley?

Inno3d GTX 980 Ti x3 Ultra - Bought from OCUK 16/07/15 to power my Phillips 40" 4K Monitor. 100% silent GPU up to about 60-65% GPU utilisation then as long as you have a stong but silent PSU (this GPU really hammers the PSU due to its massive factory OC you need a very good PSU to supply the power I found my older Corsair Modular PSU which was silent with a GTX 970 @ 4K was noisy with this GTX 980 Ti @ 4k. Then I swapped the Corsair PSU for a Seasonic & its back to 100% silence almost all of the time) its pretty silent all the time.

Best GPU I ever bought to date

can run Arkham Knight smoothly @ 4K with max everything but all Gameworks disabled except for Enhanced Rain (make sure you disable AA to see the enhanced rain as well).

Images over 1,280 pixels wide should be placed in spoiler tags as I've done for you.

Corsair CX series (and I'm told Corsair PSUs in general) are awful with the 980Ti, they have massive whining. My CX750 does too.

Mine is HX Gold not the budget model CX. It never whines just runs the fans @ full speed as it cannot cope with my GPU (yet it runs a brand new GTX 970 in total silence!)

GTX 980 Ti needs a very strong PSU especially if its factory OCed like mine

Yup, but it's lasted me without problems since I built this pc in 2012, aside from the coil whine on my 980Ti.

I'm trying to be a bit less budget orientated and buying parts in bits now, to hopefully avoid issues I've had over the past few months

980Ti has been my favourite purchase so far though, it's a beast.

Agreed, my hx1000 is fine on mid load but overclock my cards (especially benchmarking) and it starts whining. Doesn't bother me as I don't notice it at such high loads (gaming) as I wear headphones.
But still.

Think I might get a new one soon as the system is using 850+w with a +360mhz boost on the Gpu's

So I tested GTA 5 changing the cards memory from 0% to -15% in AB and still managed to get the nvlddmkm crash

no luck!

I'm thinking of giving Win 10 a try in the hope it magically fixes this.

Went from a reference 980 Ti to the classified once I could get my hands on one, for £580! with four games! yes four! the witcher 3, dying light, metal gear solid and batman, wow was I happy and the fact that it sits at 1530mhz bench stable and 1500 game stable also it hits +650 on the memory fine!

I've flashed the KingPin Bios onto the card which enables a higher fan speed once I get time I'll play around with the voltage a little with the classy tool see what I can get out of it (y) brilliant card!

Which 580ti do I need to work with my 2 dvi-d monitors? Does any card have dvi outputs for 120hz monitors

Thinking of getting a 580ti for my i7 920, can't clock above 3ghz as mobo limited.playing at 1440p.

Seriously, €680? The typical price for existing 980 Tis is around €750. I think they've given the dollar price.
