I voted MSI as they were my last 2 cards I bought new, a GTX 970 then a GTX 980ti. Both were faultless, with quiet cooling even with high fan speeds. They also looked awesome and sort of matched my case theme inside (red/black) which helped.

I wanted to vote EVGA because of the guest warranty but I remember the reviews of the initial cooling on either the 970 or 980ti being sub-par (i cant remember which) with the heat-sink missing the GPU.

Ive also just acquired an EVGA GTX 970 SSC to put me on until my next big purchase and the ACX 2.0 cooler is a whiny biatch compared to the quiet MSI cooling I had before.

Well I have a 780 from Gigabyte which is a windforce, It has some coil noise in certain games, So It's going to be MSI or EVGA, Preferably MSI as I have a red build.

If 1070 is decent and not overpriced i will get an MSI Twin forzr card.Assuming the design is similar to the 900 series, under the cooler they have a faceplate across the pcb covering the memory, aswell as separate heatsinks on the VRMS.

Makes it super easy to throw an ek thermosphere block on them and then your good to go :D

Evga do sometimes allow same GPU upgrades but you have to keep an eye on the step up page to see when/if the card you want becomes available.

Now is much too early for a potential 1080ti step up

I am tempted by EVGA because of their stance on water blocks, because although some of the others say they allow it, they also then put warranty void stickers on screws like both MSI and Asus, which puts me off at this point

EVGA for me. My 780tis are evga, and when one of them died a week in, the only hassle was getting it sent to germany on short notice, as my mum got taken into hospital in Northern Ireland with terminal cancer, so had to head back home on the same day.

I believe they have a UK based returns now, so even better.

Haven't voted because not getting a 1080. But as popular as EVGA are....I've never been able to bring myself to buy one of their cards, even if they are fastest / best RMA. They are just so ugly (IMO). I'd rather have my rig look nice for the sake of 0.3fps and an extra year of warranty that I will never use because I won't still own the card. I usually buy MSI or Asus. I like their designs the best. (this is partner boards obviously.)

EVGA, UK RMA base and previous good warranty experience with them. Never changing really unless another manufacturer offers something much better or is significantly cheaper which they probably can't do (or if I get messed around).

Zotac or gigabyte for me. Tbh they are all the same hence why it looks like it's coming down to warranties!
