Your temps of 41c is due to capping the frames so the graphics card is probably only using 70/80% of it's power. Doesn't seem much lower than my FE1080. There's a video floating around were some-one used their Titan X EVGA Hybrid on a 1080 and never went above 50c

Seems high for an AIO. I have an msi gaming x and with gameplay/all the benchmarks i've done, i'm not going over 64c and that's with my case fans running at 600rpm and the gpu fans running between 26-36% on a custom curve. So essentially near silent.

As someone has said above, capping the frames will cause a drop in temps, due to the GPU not pushing itself to get the most frames it can.

It is much lower than my fe was. I was hitting 90c on these overclock before.

Just received a MSI 1080 Gaming X today. Is anyone else getting the flickering issue?

I've installed the hotfix driver but its still doing it. Most notably when scrolling in a browser. Changing the refresh rate sorts it but just a bit annoying.

Edit: Switch to 120Hz, put the PC to sleep and then wake it, the monitor doesn't come back on. Then the PC restarts :rolleyes:

Edit 2: Switching between refresh rates fixes it. Pretty poor that its slipped through testing though. Hopefully a new driver sorts it.

I applied for a step-up with EVGA yesterday to the non-SC version of the 1080 from the 980Ti FTW I bought - and just today all the non-FE were removed from the list! Hoping EVGA honour the step-ups that got through before they were removed as it'll mean I'll get an ACX 3.0 1080 for around £545, which is around the price of the clown cards, so that's pretty decent!
