How are folks with founders editions under water getting along with their cards, happy? Clocks? Thinking of going FE + block. Thanks.

Its knocking about 20-25c off the temps which is why I`m tempted to use the hybrid.

I get 2150Mhz out of the box in OC mode without manually overclock. I have to go in office for a bit but i will come back home and test more later .

update: after 20 mins test OC mode from Gigabyte Xtreme software without manually overclock

2151Mhz
the card is total silent ( default fan profile ) fan speed run at 27% 986 RPM
Temp full load stay at 44'C, Idle at 29-32'C
the cards itself look great and fun to play with gimmick LED light but the shroud front cover when hold it in hand feel a little cheap

ps i will try manually OC later tonight .

Yeah that seems a nice overclock. Is that overclock stable at max load? Only says 49.5% TDP on GPU-Z there. Just I'd expect it higher full whack even with the dual 8 pin. I know my 1080's can hit 125% power.

I'd be interested in the manual overclock to see how far it can be pushed.

That't a pretty amazing result with no tweaks. Most 1080's cant even seem to manage that sort of figure stable.

Received my Amp Extreme.

Very happy indeed. This thing boosts up to between 2050 and 2075mhz with no fiddling from me, and sits at no more than 69c with only 28% fans lol

Been doing some OC'ing this morning with my FE. Able to hit a stable 2047mhz at 70% fan speed and 105% power with +120 on the memory. There is definitely a little more headroom in there, but the fan is not acceptable to me above 55-60 so I've backed it down to 2000mhz. Can't wait to slap the ek blocks on, it should reach mid 2100's as the thermals are definitely the biggest thing holding this card back. Either way the performance is excellent, at stock it's within the top 5% on Firestrike. It's easily capable of 60+fps minimums at 3440 in every game I've tested

much better than my 970!
