Anyway a couple of photos, top one is side by side comparison with my old 970, bottom one is just the back for anybody that maybe interested. You will notice the SLI bridge slots which I was suprised to see there, not sure why I was as they should all have it but guess I thought nobody would SLI the ITX version.

Any photos of it in the case? Always interested to see small form factor builds!

I would ditch the Gigabyte software, sounds similar to the MSI Gaming App I tried with mine, not really worth bothering with! Try MSI Afterburner or EVGA Precision X for overclocking and a custom fan profile if you need it. Would be interested to hear how it overclocks and how the small cooler manages :)

I have the 1070 Amp Extreme and have a small issue.I cannot control the LEDs from firestorm. The option is grayed out.

I installed the drivers from Nvidia's website rather than the ones provided from the disc. Could this be the issue?

Just received my Gigabyte GTX 1070 Mini ITX OC from OverClockersUK, upgrading from my trusty ASUS GTX 970 Mini as I purchased an ultra wide monitor (3440x1440) and the 970 was struggling to keep up. It's very early days but so far am impressed by this little package in particular how cool it runs, a good 10 degrees lower than the 970 while folding. It is also very quiet, about same as the 970 and I'm not detecting any coil wine at all (didn't have any with the 970 either).

The card has three modes -> Gaming Mode - 1531/1721; OC Mode - 1556/1746; Eco Mode - 1507/1697. You need to download the, not very good, Xtreme Gaming software to access these and I noticed as soon as you quit the software it reverts to Gaming Mode so all the tests below are in Gaming mode. I haven't had chance to mess with this any further or try the other manufactures OC utils.

Some results from testing, please note I just ran these with no attempt to optimise anything and the benches are single runs. I was initially more interested in how it performed against my old GPU under the same set-up than getting the perfect score:

Folding -> PPD 640,552 (9704), temp while folding 69C, Fan on Auto 2025RPM, ~10C cooler than the ASUS 970. Difficult to get exact speed up but it is around x1.8 faster.
Firestrike -> 15238 vs. 9984 for 970 [x1.5] (same CPU, mem, motherboard etc...)
Firestrike Extreme -> 8035 vs. 4942 for 970 [x1.6] (same set-up)
Firestike Ultra -> 4290 vs. 2548 for 970 [x1.7] (same set-up)
Timespy -> 5773 vs. 3445 [x1.7] (same set-up)
Valley Benchmark 1.0 (Extreme) -> FPS 114.8, Score 4804
Valley Benchmark 1.0 (Extreme HD) -> FPS 92.8, Score 3884
Heaven Benchmark 4.0 (Extreme) -> FPS 116.9, Score 2945

I downloaded and re-installed firestorm from Zotac's website and it's all working fine.

Some photos of the inside and one of the back. The ITX case is a Fractal Design 500 which can accommodate a much bigger GPU if your cable management is better than mine, which wouldn't be hard :) I also wanted a Blu-Ray drive so had to mount to CPU fan block on the back instead of the top which makes things very tight. Still temps are ok as the PSU and GPU have their own air intakes on the case. I also have 2 SSDs (for games), 1x4TB HDD & the NVMe in this little box.

Nice to see at last some info on the Gigabyte 1070 mini , I hear you can have the fan set to 0db desktop idle ? , for 1080p /1440p gaming , there is no point in SLI , the bottleneck be massive , SLI really only shine if your 4k/5k gaming . http://www.guru3d.com/articles_pages/geforce_gtx_1070_2_way_sli_review,27.html

With the Gigabyte software you get 3 FAN profiles (Turbo, Auto & Silent), however all of them seem to be 0db desktop idle below 50degrees. The Auto (default and one I use) profile kicks in at 60degrees ramping the FAN up to 40%, Turbo and Silent kick the fan in at 50degrees. I fold when not gaming so it is never idle but I tested the idle temp and it is steady at around 44degrees with 0rpm FAN.

Christ - never using DPD every again. Bunch of useless *****. Not only did they not deliver the package (was literally standing outside waving at the lad) but the lad drove past me and left a calling card several blocks down with a flat name not even remotely close to sounding/spelled like mine. So much for paying extra for a Saturday delivery ey.

Have to go down to the depot now to pick it up as I'm off abroad. /rage :)

Had this card for 2 weeks now, Awesome little thing! Can't believe the power to size ratio!!
Get rid of their software and just try afterburner, mine straight out of the box was 1885.
Silent with no fan till 50 deg.
My 780ti was not cutting it at 1600p with 3gb vram.
Very happy!

My card has micron memory. I haven't done any overclocking yet but so far so good.

On a side note, my idle core clock is high. Any way to fix that?

What have you guys got your memory overclocked to stable in games etc?

I've been gaming at +110 core and +500 memory but I will will probably drop it back to default as I don't feel like I need the overclock at the moment.

Are you on 144hz? Try it at 120 if you are.

My memory on the gpu seems kind of sucky 410 mhz anything more and it will crash my game (bf4) it's also samsung.

At 120hz the core clock is 215mhz which is great. I will keep it this way until the next driver release. Thanks. :)
