Unbeaten in 8 now 20/24 pts...

Only Southend and Forest to win in the top 9 today shows how poor League one is.

Good result for you (not a sheep-shager are you), and i think you are a run for the play-offs.
Southend played poo for the 1st half but freddy was mega in the 2nd half.
My man of the match was Adam Barrat, he was solid al the way through.
Love to see the forrest in the play-offs

Me a sheep? LOL no way.

Since Megson left.. Forest are a different team, with the way results have gone today (I expected the teams in the top 6 to win and us to draw)

Every little helps though :)

MOM today for us would have to be Gary Holt.

Keep pushing mate
Sorry bout the sheep thing, i drink in Long Eaton on a thursday

Got to keep pushing... from being about 14 pts off the play-offs to about 2 pts is very very good considering the **** who was in charge before February.

It happens with lots of teams though.

When they lose their manager, the players sit up and take notice, realising that they are now playing for their futures under a potentially new manager.

Thats what I think is happening with Pearce at the moment with Man City. The players raised their game for him at first to play for their futures but have now become complacent.

Happens at most clubs with new managers I think. Its why I never judge a manager on their first 12 months or so...

Thats the good this with Tilson at Southend, In the playoffs last year and getting auto promotion (touches wood) this year.
Southend play great attacking football but i think only possibley 6 players are Champuonship material.

Bellamy is on fire at the minute - great finishes for both goals. It's a pity he's Welsh as with Owen looking doubtful he'd be a very handy player to have about come June :)

for sure, he is playing great - a bargain too considering what other players go for and he is still quite young. he could have ended up at villa, birmingham etc and everton perhaps - bet they are kicking themselves now.

to be fair though hughes is man managing him well - he should have been given more of a look in at newcastle as the front line striker - he was put out on the right wing too much. newcastle should never have bought owen and used that 22 million on some squad players that are not simply there to collect big wages and such.

rumour has it a lot of clubs will be after bellamy this summer

I think Hughes has done a great job, and I can't help wondering how he would deal with Cristiano Ronaldo if he did move to Man Utd once SAF shuffles off. I think he could well get the best out of him as a young player too.

Well it's the real day of importance today. That traditional Sunday, full of staggered TV games, just like yer dad used to watch.

Aston Villa v West Brom - 12:00
Chelsea v West Ham - 12:00
Liverpool v Bolton - 14:00
Middlesbrough v Newcastle - 15:00
Man Utd v Arsenal - 16:00

Good set of fixtures today, could be very interesting. Unfortunately, I'm at work today (boo!), with no access to any way of checking the scores (booooo!), and I don't finish until 5:30, so I won't even get to see the Arsenal game (boooooooo!!). :(

I dont like the way Hughes sets his stall out, that isnt how i want to see my team play.

I certianly dont want my teams players battering the opposition goal keeper every time a cross comes in.

drogba and crespo up front. maniche and geremi in the side. gallas back. I think chelsea are either gonna storm it, or really struggle, i cant decide :s but with 2 up front you'd expect chelsea to notch in a few
