The PSU will be good enough for the 7900gt but the question is if the 7900gt is good enough for the system, an X1800XT is cheaper and has less in the way of reliability problems. The only real reason to go for the EVGA is the "trade-up" programme as far as I can see.

I'd go with the X2 4400 over the 4600 as it has 1mb L2 cache rather than the 512kb of the 4600 so while you can overclock to make up for the lost speed you can't add cache :)

wont the x1800xt be a lot slower then the 7900gt? its clocked at 1560mhz ram and 520 core or somthing like that...

sweet so just to confirm, the 350 watt will power a 4200+ 7900 @ 500+/1500+ 2gb ram and 500gb hdd?

Im thinking on the viewsonic but is the ocuk value one really that good? compareable to the VS Screen??

TIA

Nope it won't be, don't just pay attention to the clock speeds, the X1800XT is a match for the standard 7900gt and even if the EVGA is overclocked you would only have to do similar to the X1800XT to match it again plus you save £50 or so.

The PSU is fine, Shuttle PSUs are very efficient. One question though in your last post you say a X2 4200+, are you determined to avoid the X2 4400+ with 1mb L2 cache for some reason? It is only a shade slower than the X2 4600+ at stock speeds because of the extra cache and it can easily be overclocked to match or surpass it but you cannot add extra cache as I said before.

Anyone want to spec me a good SFF that will play most game at max settings for 800-900quid? :) i cant decide what to get lol!

Yes the X1800XT is fast enough, if you would have been happy with a 7900gt then you will be as happy or happier with the X1800XT. It offers blinding performance for the price.

ASRock motherboards are good solid budget motherboards but not always great for overclocking. I don't know too much about Conroe mATX motherboards but none are likely to be much cop for overclocking, as a general rule they never are in SFF.

acording to http://www.anandtech.com/video/showdoc.aspx?i=2821&p=4 the evga 7900GTX KO SC is the fastest gfx card so im probaly going to get that (thats what i originaly wanted)

Fair enough it is your money so go for whichever you want but bear in mind that is only one set of tests, it isn't faster in everything, the X1900XT is cheaper and in some ways a superior graphics card(i.e. ability to run AA+AF well) and there have been some reliability issues with the 7900GT series but that might not affect your card.
