What makes the perfect man/woman

Not really sure to be honest. I tend to think i'll just meet someone and know they're the one, however unlikely that may be in this day and age of divorce, but I can hope. Thing is, she could have similar interests and traits as I do, or be completely different, will just have to wait and see I guess. At a guess I'd say:

attractive (utterly subjective though)
intelligent
fun
trustworthy
 
I would say that I need some sort of mental stimulation, she has to be attractive (or at least in my eyes, and sometimes I have a strange perception!) and she needs to be able to command respect from me. Unfortunately i've only ever met (out of a good few) one girl who held all of those qualities, and as the story often goes I screwed it up royally.
 
1. Ability to hold a conversation
2. Amusing/funny/witty
3. Thoughtful/caring
4. Honest
5. Easy on the eye
6. Get's on well with my kids
 
My perfect partner (female of course) would be:

1) Funny and fun to be with.
2) Similar to me in some ways i.e. similar habbits, likes and dislikes.
3) Caring and understanding
4) Attractive but this isn't really that important, it would just be a bonus if she had all of the above ;)
 
1)gotta have motivation or to be driven, though that doesn't necessarily mean academic.

2)someone who challenges me and doesnt let me get away with everything

3)unconventionally attractive

4)open minded

5)isn't adverse to the odd romantic gesture

6)thinks I'm hot.

5) Likes to smell my farts
6) Is not a labrador

If I could get over my personal issues with point 6, I think I could be a happy person.
 
Anyone who is looking for a perfect person is going to spend a long time looking. No-one's perfect. Not even me! :)
 
All of my boyfriends have had the same general description, dark hair, tall, dark eyes because thats what i find attractive (i'm blonde, short and have green eyes, so i guess i like opposites). Other than that as long as they can hold a stimulating conversation, are willing to put in an effort, be supportive, be a little romantic, sweet, funny and i enjoy their company then they are perfect.

Right now i have everything i want.

A subsidiary question:

For those people who specify physical attributes...have the people you've gone out with had them?

IME, it's been common for people to be going out with people who don't match up with what they say they're looking for. For example, a man who say he's into small women with black hair...whose girlfriend is 5'10", athletic and has blonde hair.

Personally, I can't put my finger on it. Some people just have a hotline to my limbic system, but I couldn't say what, if anything, they had in common, and I wouldn't want to spend any time out of bed (floor, against a wall, in a forest, wherever) with some of them. Others are lovely people who I don't find attractive and I couldn't say why not.
 
Skinny
Dark hair
Small boobs
Great ass
Dirty-minded
Dirty/peurile/wicked sense of humour
Eyes that make my spine twitch
Someone that can put up with me being a pest (I have a tendancy for pouncing and tickling...)
Most importantly, someone who I can sit with and do absolutely nothing...Just knowing that they are there.
