The DS3 has issues with the d9 micron modules reaching over 450FSB

I can run 3.6ghz 4:5 1ghz without issue.

i have just tried this on the p5w, seems to work with 1 gig at 3575 4:5, it boots into windows and does a sweet pi,, thats about it though,,, i need water...:)

i think i saw this on one of your other posts,,, didn’t remember...
Very nice chip you have... what cooler did you have?

mi friend next door has just got mi self a vapochill... i'll have some fun with that next week.. prob freeze mi fingers of too, he wanted to try tonight but as it’s Friday the 13th, thought better not… but must be worth a try,, some bloke in the states got his chip over 4 gig with one,,,

by the way, according to g skill, what you did with your mem is imposible…..:)

quote from them…..

"1:1 you might have problem with P5WDH motherboard.
If you can run 2:3 over 800 then it is not the problem with ram.
Please make sure your 975 NB can run over 370.
Some time it is the problem with your 975 NB not the ram.
1500FSB is impossible."

Have you read the post?

He can only get gaming stable at 3.6ghz.

Anyone with a P5B at 500 FSB with a E6600 is talking BS!

Devious was a screen shot,

Not stable and as he has said himself he could only get the P5B stable at 3.6ghz

lol there are plenty of people who have over 500fsb with a p5b deluxe and a conroe never mind allendales.

this is all with the rev 1

all plastered around in this thread amongst others
http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=112648

besides im running 475 100% stable this is from boot (might be able to up that to 500 in windows but im not a fan of clockgen)

Posting super PI times is not stable enough.

Where are the prime stable shots of 500 FSB with E6600's?

Even Devious got a screen shot of 8x 500 with his P5B but was it gaming stable/prime stable at this FSB?

No!

He had to drop to 400x 9 just to play oblivion

Im not interested unless I can have 8x 500 24/7

As I might as well stay at 3.8ghz

am at work now so i cant really browse through the threads on xs, i remember at least 2 members with over 500 prime stable with 660

i'll dig out links later if i have time!

it's always better from boot, i suppose this is 100% stable... what water cooling system would you recommend? any Intel preferred??

as it says

board is stock unmodified.
cpu is under the swifttech kit

its a good kit for its budget.

3.57Ghz stable (510x7). This is with 1.525V in BIOS, 1.48V in windows which droops to 1.46V under load. I haven't measured these directly off the board yet so is only just software readings.

This is nearly 9hrs orthos stable. plus i played an hour or two of farcry and css yesterday with no problems. Temps are reaching my personal limits at around 55 load, so i will test 515x7 tonight (3.6ghz) as my top 24/7 overclock, then will pump some voltage into the ram to reduce the timings from 4-4-4-8 hopefully down to at least 4-4-3-8, or at a push 3-4-4-8 :D
