First post (dont want to babble but have read the forums almost daily for the last 2 years, up there with the best, very nice community)

I see the Thermaltake Mozart TX on this week only week only and think bargain !
Then i remember the case is only 33 cm deep ... MY question is; if the bottom chamber is fully loaded up with fans will there still be enough room for a / two 8800gtx cards, offer ends tommorow, would appreciate if anyone could find an internal measurement or know off the top of their heads, thanks in advance

Hiiiii OcUK !

Hiiiiiiii, welcome to the forums! Even though youve been looking at it for 2 years, but its your first post! Wooo!

I would have thought it would be plenty deep enough, much deeper than most cases out there. There will be no problem unless the 8800's are massive!

As to your choice of case... wouldnt you prefer a nice lian li? Do you really need all that space? I just dont like its looks but i suppose each to his/her own!

i do like lian li and god knows ive been >-< close to buying one at times, i have a folding pc which im wanting to set up on on other panel, the g80 thing which i believe (correct me please) is 29 cm long has bee holding me off this so far, what with the case being 33 deep, the card being 29 long , allowing 2 cm for a fan, and a little manouverability, its gunna be pretty cramped, at least with this beast of a case if i decided to go g80 sli i could pair up another swiftech wc kit just to cool the sli and one to get down and diry with quad core and the motherboards, or for my raid array :D thanks for the input

i must learn to punctuate, i must learn to punctuate, i must learn to punctuate. (+and/b4 the last one?:D)

Sounds like a beast of a machine you are planning! What moniter will you be using? Unless its 20"-24"+ there is really no use for SLi. Also quad core atm has no real advantage for gaming. Maybe someone else can input about these.

Back to the case i think the V1000 or V2000 will suit your needs, maybe even a Eclipse 62.

If the G80's dont fit standard ATX m/b sizes then there will be a load of compatability issues and so this seems unlikely. I'm pretty sure you will be fine with the Mozart TX if thats the case you want.

Dont forget to post pics ect. when you have made this beast :D. Would really like to see how it preforms!

Also a lot of commas but no full stops  :p

currently im running in an armor :D with a 3800x2 @ rubbish overclock (waiting on some water to splash around) + 7900gtx and some other gubbins are thrown in there. Im running 2405, and do play or try to at its native resolution, but yeh i am planning a beast :D

EDIT : Ive bought the mozart, and a 500 gb seagate.

For my current Rig i already have 5 hdds and although they do fit, it will be nice to fit them into their own compartment, I will not be planning on using the htpc functionality offered, but in time i will set up another pc based on micro atx as a home gaming server / folding pc,...

I cannot wait to get my hands on it, ill post some photos tommorow (or when possible) , but the initial build wont be finished till after the new year (not gunna jump on the release day bandwagon like i did with my 7900gtx only to find it 100 pounds down weeks after release...)

If Anyone else has this case speak up, itd be nice to hear your thoughts...

EDIT: BLASTED PUNCTUATION. I am italian though... am i forgiven :D

Its here

The Case has come, (pictures coming) i decided to go with the silver model. Even though this case is a no-go for lan parties, id still like to think the weight difference would benefit this situation if it ever arrived. The case is vehhhhhry nice (IMO), even though i was expecting slightly better build quality from the reviews ive read - e.g. the doors can be a little loose, hard drive cage scrapes its way out of the cage when removed. I really am most pleased with it. It makes me wanna stride down the street with it in my arms nodding to the ladies ; "oh yeah baby, it really is >------------< big :D, back to the reason i started the thread... from pci plate to front fan i measure it at 28.6 cm, so a cm to spare with the 8800gtx, of course if i wanted it to have looooadsa room i could remove the fan, or shop around for a lower profile fan as to give what ever card my case sonsumes some breathing room. Even though I bought this case for the wrong reasons; i even think its sexy now ive seen it in the flesh - like Ms Webster at the prom (too far?). Roll on payday. Roll on sub 400 pound 8800GTX, roll on deodorant (cheap). I must say im glad i went with this over the new stacker, theres enough space in there for me to sleep in it should i ever get evicted through bankrupcy :D. Ill post a review of this on my blog once i get a system running in there, but for now, its going to sit at the other end of my desk looking to the sky, with its its fists on its waist protecting my bedroom from cats, dogs and small children. (im not funny, shut UP !)

(oh my, I've used a full stop !)
