Anyone found any reviews on this waterblock or know if its any good?

I'v been looking around google but it returned nothing

I really need a waterblock and dangerden dont have any in stock so :/

blocks for the 8800 are looking a bit rare at the minute its normal seems the block manufacturers always take longer to ge them out, sorry cant be any more helpful, only block i know of at the minute it the one that comes on the BFG card that is a Danger Den one. also aquacomputer blocks are quite restrictive

Swiftech are currently designing a bracket that will allow an MCw60 block to fit. Cooling the numerous memory blocks will be by means of heatsinks...personally I'm waiting for a decent fullblock solution from EK.

Silenx is making a gorgeous block for the G80 called the Ixtrema Pro. See it on their website here . There were some better pictures on the Inquirer a couple of weeks ago here . I have found it on pre-order elsewhere for £104 inc vat so it is'nt cheap.

The appearance sure is gorgeous, but it appears to be made out of aluminum! That's a no go for me, especially with a price tag over £100. Or is it pure copper on the inside, like the DD?

Already posted that link.

It would seem to be machined completely from aluminium, apart from maybe the bit that sits on the actual GPU core. If you have a decent additive in your loop there should'nt be a problem.

Price wise, yes it is expensive but so is the card in the first place so many would say if you can afford the card you can afford the cooler. It does cool everything though.

Horribly restrictive. http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=122161

Danger Den, says limited stock, $135. Doubt they will be in stock for awhile.

Keep a look out for the EK . Available 6.12.2006!

Full cover blocks are a waste of time!

Save your money and get an Aquaextreme MP-01, Silverprop Fusion, Maze 4/5

Generally I'd agree. But these card with 20 odd heat sources spread out all over the board I'm not so sure. The memory can get quite hot on these and I hate sticking on sinks to expensive cards under warranty. Wouldn't be the first time I've twisted off a ramchip.
