That is a great overclock.. i wonder if it's a great chip or a great mobo or both probably.

Its only at stock atm because I am waiting for my new corsair 620w to complete my system before we begin on the road to overclock.
So what board are you running yours on?

all 680i apart from the revised evga and the dfi 680i have problems with overclocking quads, even the 'fixed' mainboards don't overclock too well. Try it anyway and see what you get

Air should be good for up to 2.8-3.4 depending upon cpu.

id break out the KAB2E.. but the memory controler bails with 2*1gig @ 253mhz htt :/

so no SC records for me..

but, boosted dual core:
ignore the reported cpu speed, i was winding up fsb in background (abit uGuru - 265mhz = 3180)
