stupid drivers...

***RANT WARNING***

was going along M5 at about 10.30pm in the middle lane...next thing i see an indicator come on, ford fiesta, pulls into middle and i move across to give myself more room and the fact i was going faster. first time i look at the car thought i saw his backlights on, was actually just the reflectors no back lights at all...look at the frot of the car no headlights :eek:

...i mean WTF how can u be going along the motorway in the pitch black and not realise u haven't got your ****** lights on. IDIOTS. anyone else seen anything more stupid??

Me leaving a roundabout and my left signal not cancelling.....T junction onto my road a few yards ahead......guy pulls out, me like :eek:

driving instructor llike :rolleyes:

. That guy must have got some fright!

He shouldnt have taken my indication as fact though,my dad lost some case because he took a guys indication as fact and got hit. Bit daft really.

woman in a range rover coming down the complete wrong side of the a19 towards me at about 2am , she was blatantly drunk and weaving all over, i had to pretty much stop at on the roadside to make sure she didnt hit me

credit to her that she had the lights on though or id never of seen her :eek:

rang the police about it . but have always wondered what happened too her

i never take signals as fact, i always make sure they slowing down for the junction b4 i pull away saves hassle of insurance then. that fiesta shook me up a bit tho...

Just be thankful they didnt go from sliproad > outside lane in one go. Seems to be the bloody new style around here. You are coming up to the slip road so go to the outside lane,they indicate on but dont stay in the lane you cleared for them...no they pull right infront of you.

Similar thing happened to me in Cumbria last year. We were travelling along a very dark dual carriageway in the rain when I notice a reflection a fair way up the road. As we gradually got closer I could see it was a brand new Astra that had NO rear lights at all...the fronts were working just fine :eek:

I sat behind and flashed him a few times, luckily he got the message and pulled in which is pretty surprising as most people just get angry in that situation.

Imagine buying a brand new car (even IF it's a Vauxhall) and the rear lights don't work at all..bonkers.

I always see old biddies driving around in the pitch black with no lights on, completely oblivious to everyone flashing the hell out of them.

What junction of the M5? I'm live just outside of Weston and go up and down the M5 (21/22 - J16/17) every day. Aload of muppets seem to use this motorway, unable to read the signs telling them that the 4th lane will soon return to 3....

"Oh ****, where the **** has my lane gone?!?!?"

Same thing happened to a mate of mine, a van comes off the roundabout, signalling left to exit, which didn't cancel my mate at the petrol station thinks the guy is going left and in the petrol station, so pulls out, obviously the van driver is caning it along to get to the 50 limit, lets say Ford Transit + Old Mini - Not pretty!

Fortunately never come across people with no lights at night, but I did watch a old woman turn right out of a petrol station on a saturday lunchtime two weeks ago onto the A45 just outside Ryton-on-Dunsmore and proceed to drive on the A45 dual carrigdeway the wrong way. I started my car and pulled up to the junction expecting a pile up, clear road, she was nowhere to be seen - must have really booted it the quarter-mile distance or so to the previous roundabout.
