What the hell is this **** on ITV?

Anyone care to explain what the hell this program is on ITV at the moment?

It seems to be a cross between The X Factor and friday night karaoke down the local.

Can TV get much worse ? :confused:

I know. My mum wanted to watch this instead of top gear which was on uktv. It's absolute rubbish, so i've come on the pc instead

I dislike a lot of the television that is broadcast currently. I stopped watching TV long ago, and now only occasionally turn the television on.

What happened to decent documentaries, and other good programmes?

Standards are slipping. If we wanted to watch some karaoke singers, we would pop down to the pub on karaoke night and watch them sing live. Put simply, ITV are running out of ideas. I know BBC1 are doing some other talent show (DanceX), which is equally dire.

So, as long as its a talent show, it seems that it can make it on prime time Saturday night telly. Ratings must surely be taking a hammering or is the UK population lapping it up?

I just wonder how long this type of programming is going to last. One thing's for sure, it will get worse before the talent shows come to an end.

We were just watching a bit of the BBC1 show whilst getting the baby off to sleep and some of the dancers were ok but some were awful, makes you wonder how they got to that stage! Just turned over to see how bad it was and it's bad lol.

The UK populous loves it. You only have to see how much the TV companies make from the premium rate voting calls that people make to figure that bit out.

Saturday night tv is the worst of the week by a mile, either some cruddy one off drama about something totally bizarre and un-interesting or a cheap talent show X factor clone.

Anyone remember that Christopher Biggins sat night show.. I think it was on sat night. He had contestants running through a old aztec/amazon type set design..

Quality TV back then.
