Ok bit confused, whats the difference?

Technically they seem the same, only difference looks to be design and price (with the 33 being more). So am I missing something or is the 33 a newer model and therefore a better panel albeit with a major design flaw (stand).

Cheers for any info

Not much in it really, the 2433bw has HDCP, has the function buttons on the side (right side) the stand dont lok as good as the 2443..........and looks like you get what looks like a sexy screen.

Ahh cheers for that, was under the impression the 43 was HDCP compliant.. so that might have ended nastily ;)

wait so does this mean i wont be able to connect my ps3 to the 2443bw monitor?

Whats the adaptor you need for HDCP? Bit confused now (doesn't take a lot ><), but would eventually want to be able to play BD on a new monitor so that is quite a big thing and I'm guessing both can do this?

Also is the 43 a gloss or matte effect - looks matte from the images but can never quite tell.

i just recieved my 2443 a few days ago and i LOVE it! its a fantastic screen! you wont be dissapointed at all!

and the frame is 15mm wide.

Nice, 15mm is nothing! :D

I want them paired up you see, so the minimal gap for my charts and the like is ideal.

Does it not matter it's a TN instead of a PVM?

You can get a HP PVM for £30-40 more, any reason people didn't bother to do so?

cos its 30-40 i didnt have atm and seeing as i was fedup of my 223bw i went for this :) , and i have to say for a TN this is a very good one hardly any backlight bleed on it

i went for 24" cos of price constraint and to stress my gtx280 some :) cos of the 1920*1200 res

EDIT: just played a film back @ 1080p Looks stunning :D :D
