Anyone any ideas when the Samsung 245T is out?

It seems like I've been waiting for months for this, yet there seems to be no date (or price!)

Apparently it will be June/July before this is released.

Doesn't seem to be anything other than guesses on the price of this at the moment. Last time I was aware it didn't even have a solid ETA. So as for a price, I'd say that will come around the same time.

Three samsung monitors were annouced the 275T, 245B and the 245T with availability in april, may and june respectively.

Just recieved this message from Samsung today regarding the 245T:

Unfortunately the two successors to the 224T have not been officially scheduled for a release date. Both the 245T and te 244ex will be announced shortly.

Pricing should be similar to the 244T.

I hate playing this waiting game!!

the 245T has been announced for release in June.

We're in June now! Any idea of price?

Also, will it support 1080p via Xbox 360 VGA or componant?

I read elsewhere that the other 24" Samsung don't do 1080p for the Xbox 360...

Its a computer monitor not a TV, if you want 1080p via component then get a dedicated TV. 1080p via DVI is all that matters.

no reviews and no pre-orders and nearly august, this monitor will never appear IMO.

doesnt change the situation, still no reviews, no preorders, 4 months late (shipping was suppose to be March for the US) and one unfinished prototype (Cebit 2007).

Very true but at least there is some sort of moment as it was getting very quiet. I wouldn't be surprised if it isn't even released before Christmas - its all very reminescent of the Benq!!

Another monitor that initially seems to be recieving some good comments is the Eizo HD2441W - pity its so expensive though (£930 inc.VAT)
