7900GT Vs. X1800 XT (High Rez Wide)

7900GT will in general overclock and perform better than a X1800XT. Others will say different, horses for courses m8. Thats my input anyway fella !
 
I've read on some other threads that the X1800XT 512mb out performs the 7900GT at higher resolutions
 
512 meg version of the 7900GT i`d go for, but the Ati card is cheaper, and older by design. I have no problems playing any game @1680x1050 with my 7900GT, but higher resolutions need even more grunt. Get the best you can afford.
