Impressive from a technological aspect, but I don't envision it being much in the way of fun...

Tis cool lol.

This could turn out good tho cos it would be good for multiplayer and its basically like a 3d board game since it uses a board. But with the pieces moving through the screen.

It would be awesome for virtual reality type applications, thinking of things like paintball, wearing this device as goggles, you could have a paintball session in any environment you like. LARPer's dream :)

Are you kidding? Put it in a pair of goggles and I'll never take them off!

You could have a troll's head permanently superimposed on your boss, or virtual naked women lapdancing on your office desk.

Also, I feel like eating skittles for some strange reason :)

Realtime photoshopping of reality will lose it's novelty after a while. :p

The idea of laserquest type stuff is cool, but it will need to advance loads more for that, as there will need to be a central processing of each player's augmented reality to register shots and stuff.

I mean the current incarnation on a small screen will never match an immersive game on a 24"+ monitor.

Yeah just as a visual aid for any sort of tabletop game even, got to be cheaper than holographic technology. The extra immersion would be awesome.

Wouldn't have to spend hours painting my 40k models anyway, ok, would save me from just pouring paint over them ;)

Absolutely. I merely mean that it has potential - it would be a really exciting thing to work on. I just need to find a company that would sponsor me to do it :p
