Hi guys this is my first blogged mod so please give positive or negative comments- i can take it :D

I've been running in a Thermaltake Tsunami Dream for the last three years now with two different watercooling kits and countless CPU coolers - but slowly started running out of working space in the last year so decided to get something bigger and better.

The hardware:

Q6600 @ 3.2Ghz
4GB OCZ Reaper
Gigabyte p35-ds3r
36GB WD Raptor 10000rpm
250GB WD
200GB Seagate
GTX 285
X-FI Falat1ty
Coolermaster 650w

(Shows my old 8800GTX)

Coolermaster Cosmos S -

Was quite surprised to find the case enclosed in a nice bag

Started to remove front grills and hard drive cage (my thermaltake in the background)

Sprayed hard drive cage and PCI slots with Matt black

While the second coast was drying i started with the window. I disliked the plastic web look and the large fan so I removed it

I liked the mesh however and secured it into place. I may decide to create an acrylic window once if I think it will look better once it's together

Prep'ed the case for spraying

I didn't actually take any pictures from the other side before painting which was a bit stupid in hindsight, my aim was just to spray in the case and leave the outer areas.

Starting painting

I did a second coat all and left for a few hours to fully dry.

Removing the masking

All off

Came out very nice however would have been nice if Coolermaster could have already done this considering price tag.

I didn't get any hardware installation pictures however I have ordered four Xigmatek 120mm fans which will hopefully be here tomorrow so atm the moment I have just the front hard drive fan installed.

Up and running

My plan is to install an custom water cooling setup however I'm going to have to wait till my next pay :(

I'm just glad this thing fits under my desk :D

Quick update

Received four Xigmatek fans which look beautiful

Last night was averaging about 35-37C idle which was very high compared to my last case. However with these four fans in I'm getting 26-27 idle so they do a very good job!

I'm planning to get two more, one for the empty space next to the PSU and second to replace the stock hard drive cooler...red isn't my thing

nice painting man
Do you have a pic of the cosmos s next to the tsumani dream?
I am considering a Cosmos S when I do a rebuild in the future but have no sense of its scale from pics (I have a tsunami now)

Cheers
