In Dungeons, our protagonist falls victim to a devious plot hatched by his vile, nasty and thoroughly vicious ex-girlfriend and finds himself at the bottom of the underworld hierarchy and the top of the dungeon pile which in this world is about as bad as it can get. Our Lord must have his revenge, and make his way back down the dungeon levels to his rightful place -- but first he must deal with his new bosses, the three despicable Dungeon Lords who stand in his way.

At his disposal are his dim-witted goblin minions who dig tunnels and build rooms to lay out his lair and trap ever stronger and braver heroes who dare to enter, not forgetting to plot his revenge against his ex-girlfriend and his new bosses who think it’s great fun to bombard him with useless tasks. It goes without saying that a malicious and sneaky creature such as our Dungeon Lord has more than a few tricks up his sleeve. Revenge will be sweet indeed.

Could be great - but I'm yet to be convinced. Shall be keeping my eye on this to see if they fluff it.

Saw the screens yesterday. Hang on a minute, those colour tones look an awful lot like dungeon keeper/2....

I was stoked. Naturaly though, dk2's greatest strengh was the amazing attention to detail, a benchmark these guys have to match to make it worth playing.

Weird realy as EA tossed the ip to a chinese developer, last i looked they were doing something with it.

Despite all the promise though, it's already clear that Dungeons doesn't measure up to the standards of the games it's compared to. This may be a spiritual successor to the likes of Dungeon Keeper and Theme Park, but it doesn't look like it'll better either. It feels just a bit too ropey and low-budget, without any of that crucial humour or character that Bullfrog was so good at mixing in.

Sad :(:(:(:(

It's a shame but I really don't feel anyone but bullfrog can pull off their games. Lionhead studios really should be given a shot at the old IP's. They stand the best chance.

This thread has made me dig out my old DK cds. I can't find them! :(

Download them, it's not piracy if you own them and they are so old anyway I doubt anyone cares. I beleive you can't get dungeon keeper to work unless it is cracked to work on vista and w7. Also watch out because the latest patch ruined the game some what and stoped black knights and i think dark angles being able to be recruited throug hthe portal after a certain point in the missions. The only way to remedy it is to overwrite some files with the orginal install.

Really? Thanks for the heads up. Hopefully I can find a source with the deeper dungeons too. I don't even remember what that added, but I was happy to find a thing with them both in, I remember that much XD

I never liked the madien that it added. When ever I play I always try and get a whole army of guards, black knights and dark angels :). The game is actually ridiculously easy but i've loved it since I was a sperm I swear lol.

If you do some googling I'm sure you'd be able to find the patch. Unfortunetly I can't find my orginal disk which means I couldn't remedy it on mine as the "silver" version i think it's called that I downloaded from a cracker was pre patched and made to work on vista. I really need to find my disk.
