GOG.COM - Official Thread ( XP/VISTA COMPATIBLE , DRM FREE CLASSIC GAMES )

Beyond Good and Evil can be had for roughly the same price on Steam however does take a little finangiling to get working on Vista x64 and also the graphics corrupt every now and again (Steam version) however I completed it a couple of weeks ago and would highly recommend it!

PoP is a superb game and worth every penny.

Some good stuff on here now. I'm tempted to try Beyond Good and Evil - it sounded like it had the fun and immersion of Psychonauts.

I've heard the PC version of Cannon Fodder doesn't live up to the Amiga / ST originals - anyone tried it?

The first two have been freeware for a few years now :) You can also get Flight of the Amazon queen from scummvm.org (GoG uses Scummvm behind the scenes to play BASS and Temptress I believe)
 
Great site. I finally got to play Die by the Sword again. That game was so ahead of its time in terms of physics. Kobold hockey is hilarious.
 
Ishar was one of two games I got with my first PC, the other being X-Wing. Loved Ishar at the time, but bloody hell, it's aged badly :)

Any hints on what sort of "finangiling" is required as the graphical corruption here is terrible.
