Corsair psu

Depending on your PSU weight ... will cost £25+ to ship as well...... if you want some kind of insured tracking.

I'll get enermax next time (UK return center) .... the corsair is the only PSU ever to let me down..... and have I had some shoddy PSU's in the last 15 years.

It's also the only one with a 5 year warranty..... go figure

If it's under a year I think OCUK will take it back. Send them a webnote to find out or call. My first one failed and I was pondering bothering with the expensive postage abroad but a quick call to OCUK and it was all sorted.

it isnt under a year, and to dispel a view of corsair psu's
ive built several high pc s for friends
currently
2 out of the 3 hw620s have failed

my own failed yesterday 2years old

so thats 3 hw620 s

to top it i bought a tx750 yesterday to replace the hw620
hope i dont regret it
next time i am going back to enermax

Sounds like you've been unlucky, though saying that, i've bought one and it failed too! They seem fantastic when they work though, hope your new one doesnt let you down.

FYI, mine didn't fully fail but gave a pop when voltage applied to it (when it was switched on). It was still solid, but seemed best to replace. I have no doubts about quality overall, perhaps a few poor components are letting them down (perhaps already been replaced in newer models).

odd due to the high level of corsair failures they apparently opened up a uk based RMA service, have a look here:

http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?p=12083910
It is not based in the UK, read post #35 within that thread.

Please also mark the RMA number clearly on your package, and ship your RMA to the following address:

Attn: RMA Department
Corsair Memory BV
Attn: Returns Department
Tunerstraat 3, 1322CB
Almere, The Netherlands

cheeky gits cheapest I can find is around £25 grrrr I'll send it off but i'll never buy a corsair power supply ever again unless they change their policy and get a uk shipping address it's just too expensive to send a parcel in europe from the uk.I'll stick to brands that have a uk depot like antec.

Enermax are closing thier Uk office . . .

How do you know this? Any source of info? link?

Just replying to the C64 quoted post, it's actually not bad at all so long as the package is under 2kgs (i.e. not a big, metal PSU) - as soon as it's over 2kgs, it's BOHICA time.
