P8P67 Pro Dual Post Cold Boot

Dear Overclockers

I have just recently built myself a new system and all seems to be going well. However i am experiencing a double post everytime i boot up from cold. I have Corsair 2x2Gb 1333Mhz ram. Corsair H70 and temps of around 35 with Intel Core i5 2500k. I have seen the post in which to enable boot up from pci-e which is enabled, however it still happens. I am somewhat confused!! :confused:

Any help would be appreciated, Thanking you

P.S I have the latest UEFI

try re-set cmos i have just built a sandybridge and have no problems.

Re the double boot issue - have you tried enabling "Power on by PCIe" ? It's under APM in the advanced tab

Thx chippy but as you can see it is already enabled, i'll try resetting cmos its just weird. I do have the motherboard in overclock mode in uefi.

I was experiencing the same problem untill I updated to bios 1253

I'm having this too with an OCUK bundle, it also fails to get into Windows 7 on a restart but is fine from a cold boot.

I've solved the dual post issue by disabling both the JMB controller and the Marvel one. It could be either of them which solved the problem but I've not had time to try them individually yet.

I'm on bios 1305

I feel i should say this issue has been resolved, i did reset the cmos but surprisingly disable boot from pci-e did it. Ive also succesfully oc'd to 4.5Ghz really well chuffed!!
