Asus P8P67-Pro B3 Revision.

Hi,

Just updated BIOS to latest revision 1502, and now at reboot I get black screen with White flashing dot.

At first I got a message saying ENTER BIOS to configure.

Then it rebooted and now I have a black screen with white flashing dot.

Please help.

turn off all power fully to the pc for 20 seconds. then try it.

if that doesnt work take out the bios battery for a minute or two, then put it back in and try again.

just updated my own bios and couldnt get it too work until i pulled all power the the motherboard ie turn off at plug
 
did you do the whole remove power cord for 30secs & discharge mobo, then clear CMOS for 5 secs routine?. as ever since i started doing all that routine, BIOS flashes have gone ultra smoothly.

1. Reset your UEFI to Optimized Defaults, reboot, enter UEFI and then flash to the new UEFI build.
2. After flash and restart, enter Windows/Linux, then exit and shutdown.
3. Remover the power cord from the power supply, wait thirty seconds, press Power On button to clear any remaining charge, clear CMOS for five seconds, reattach the power cord, power on the system, enter UEFI, set to Optimized Defaults, save and exit.
4. Enter UEFI, set your system to customized settings based on your system configuration (RAID, OC, etc), save and exit.

yep done all that and its working. Thank you very much. Just about to post another problem (which i have been meaning to for a while) that I have had with both P8P67 (normal b2 board) and now this one P8P67 Pro - B3 LAN problem. Maybe you can help? I'll obviously be posting a new thread to keep this tidy.
 
Mind you I still have the double post issue;-

Windows starts to load.
