How much power do these have?

I thought it was 300hp but it says 340hp on the BMW website?

I have a 4 day test drive of one next week so the extra 40hp would be nice. The M sport suspension looks pretty funky too as it lowers the car 10mm when the sport button is pushed.

Ah that will be it, cheers.

Will be interesting to see how it feels compared to a 2000 model S2000. Obviously a completely different level of refinement and power is expected but is that 1600kg going to dull the experience.

We will see!

It's a model of Z4 Roadster.

Ah cool, didn't know if it was an option or something :)

It's a common myth with the cayman that PASM lowers suspension by 10mm when sport is activated, however it is in fact simply a 10mm drop all the time compared to the normal static suspension. I would imagine it is the same for the z4.

I test drove the sDrive 30i, was impressed overall, the handling was sharp, ride compliant and engine fantastic (although lacking in power, 35i is a must imo) but ultimately it felt more of a GT car than a sports car to me.

It looks like its moved towards casual from where the old Z4 was. Look forward to hearing your thoughts as its a natural progression from where I am at the moment.

It arrived this morning and I have driven to Wales in it. (Motorway and A roads)

I'll write a full report next week, but briefly
-Massive refinment, with lots of toys. Effortless to drive
-Gearbox is crap compared to the S2000, notchy and slow to change
-Engine is very good, the toll booth drag on the toll road was very fun.

I really love these cars. As soon as I can afford one, I'm getting one.

Simon - the auto versions now have DCT so maybe this is the variant to go for?

I really like these cars so am interested to hear what you have to say about it. I think I would prefer the idrive paddle shift version though.
