What is **B-GRADE**???

Opened box, returned, possible manual missing etc. Waranty may be shorter it will normally say under Product Description. I will double check this I just wanted to be first to post a reply. :)

that's effectively it.

Some of it is probably all there, never used but the box got damaged, or new replacements direct from the manufacture in non retail packaging, some will be missing non essential parts (say drive cables from a motherboard) or manuals/driver disks.

It's a bit of a gamble as to what exactly the reason for it being B grade is, but it's all garunteed to work when you receive it (IIRC it's 7 or 14 days warrantee with ocuk).

As above...They normally consist of the bare parts...

I ordered two motherboards, one was brand new it seemed but had nothing with it, no i/o plate or manuals etc but the packaging was unopenened...

The other was used as it had dust in it, but seems to be working fine as i sold it and had no complaints, booted with my hardware anyway.

But sometimes you get RMA's, or things that have been re-turned and are basically brand new.

Looks like shorter warranty and the remainder of manufacturers guarantee on things like refurbished hard drives. Don't think your make a huge saving though. New hard drives can have a 5 year warranty so don't think they are worth bothering with as you may lose a year or more depending on how old the drive is.

I recently bought as well though I was lucky in that I was buying a flat off my cousin who is moving to Moscow for a job and wanted to sell up, so apart from endless nagging by my side of the family who all own houses) that there is going to be a crash next week it was really easy, hell I managed to go from his announcing that he was moving at my Aunt birthday in early November to moving in on the 10th of January. Any way I read that in the Evening Standard last week that house prices in Soho have risen 12% since January already which really makes me feel good.
