Living Costs is this right?

Just wondering if these costs are roughly correct. Moving into a 3 bed house with 1 bathroom. 2 Adults 2 Babies.

Housing Costs Monthly
(Council House) Rent - 400
Council Tax - 100
Electric -40
Water - 30
Gas - Cooker + C.Heating 20
Land line - 11
Internet - 18
TV License - 12
Sky TV - 42
Total - 637

Anything obviously wrong?

Sounds about right I guess, although your utilities bills seem slightly high :confused:

council tax is more likely to be £120, but then that depends on the area/band.

Sounds about right to me, we have similar bills which total around £900 p/m but that is with a £500 mortgage and a £200 car loan.

Ba it was meant to be C.Heating..

Not lived as family before so have no idea what so ever on usage costs

We live out in the sticks and so cheaper council tax, I know last year the place (next door) was £82 a month

Car Tax 16
Car Petrol 20
Car insurance 60
Phone (1+2) 31.66
Clothes 100
DVD Rental 15
Other 100

Total = £740 odd

£42/month for Sky is just stupid. Just get a Freeview box and watch that. Freeview is quite good value really, and there are much better things to do than watch TV!!

How about your house insurance?
