Hi,

I'm looking at setting up machine with 4 radeon 5870's to run as a bitcoin miner. Just something i want to try for a bit of fun.

Anyway, my question is does OCUK sell any mobo's that will support this. I'm struggling to find boards that will handle 3.

Not fussed over AMD or Intel.

Thanks

Buzz

The only board I have that will do 4 graphic cards is the X58-UD9 which is end of line and of course the X58-OC

Rampage III. Supports only 3 in trifire/SLI, but 4 cards total

As said above

Of course, thats just a quick browse of pics etc. Pretty sure it just needs to have the 4th slot, as you probably will not SLI / Crossfire them

Darn I can not believe I did not think about the Assassin considering I use the Sniper as my 24/7 board. :) Thanks PhillyDee

Yikes. I would very much like to see quad sli setups but would never go for one myself. Saw the power draw numbers awhile ago and they scared the crap out of me.

If its just for mining no point in buying an expensive CPU when you could spend the extra money on another gpu.

Yes, but this system may become my system within 3/4/5/6 months maybe, so may as well pay a little extra and its always going be worth keeping for a kick ass rig if it becomes redundant :)
