Got a Lian-Li V2000B

Gray Mole custome phase SS unit in the base

Thermpchill PA120.3 in the top for my GFX's

I've my DVD-RW at the base and then i want my hd's above that, this is all in the 5 1/4'' drive bays. (put the DVD at the base so no heat is trapped over the HD's see)

How can i suspend my HD's so there safe and silent as my system is mentaly fast and silent.

I searched but found nowt

Looks worse than the hocker down the road

Also at £35 plus £8 delivery i'd rather pay terroists to take over the world

Sorry they are shocking

what about something with bungy cord or alike? The one in the guid don't work

Thats mine in a PC-75 HDD frame, I have 2 in there now but no newer photos.

It cuts out vibration transfer completely but seek noise is still audible, and I am now considering a Watercool Silentstar HD-dual or making something similar to silence them totally.

In words of Scott on Radio one

''Love you Dave''

Where ya get the cord from? I got some white stuff but black be nicer

Seak nosie be okay, when i'm on pc i currently have Radio one on streaming, when i'm alseep i sleep but seasking nosie be okay

I have used shoe laces before to mount a Hdd.

The guide for that method became a dead link and no longer worked, so was deleted.

Anyone want to write a new one or shall I? :p

How often will you see it though? They are apparently very effective. However the bungee method is also very effective. Ive got mine set up very similar to how DaveMac has his set up. I used bungee cord from the inside of an old tent pole. I wouldnt recommend usind a purely rubber cord, as it could become brittle with time and heat and could snap.

the silentmaxx enclosures are great, and tbh that pic doesnt do them justice, the ones you get now are blue, and have sexy chrome silentmaxx logos on, they look great!!

Agreed, they do the job well and will last forever, built really well, all in all decent for the price. I would have rather had a black one though as I'm not too keen on the blue color, it doesn't really match my rig. Ive put mine on the bottom of my case onto the paxmat i have in there and its dead silent even when seeking. It would probably be a lot better and cheaper to use elastic though.
