What kind of exhaust do I need?

As mentioned previously in another post, my exhaust fell off on Friday leaving me with a deafening 140 mile drive. Im quite keen to get this sorted by the end of the week, so I want to know exactly what I need so I can get some accurate quotes. Renault are out of the picture as they are so expensive, plus the original exhausts are so poor. Im looking at a Powerflow system although im unsure whether to get a hidden pipe so it remains standard or have the bumper cut into for a nice tailpipe.

Anyway, here is where the exhaust came apart:

This shows the rest of the exhaust system:

And here is the exhaust sitting in my boot:

So.. what do I actually need? Do I just need another backbox or do I need a cat back system? I am trying to keep the cost down as much as possible and am also leaning to keeping it as standard looking as possible. I also do not want a noisey exhaust. Any thoughts?

Edit: Which box is the cat?

I'd take a look at Scorpions range of exhausts, I have a mate with one fitted to his sporty Clio, it sounds nice and looks the part also. :)

the 172 is known to have a weak exhaust and often fails. Your next problem is that the standard exhaust is a 1 piece unit all the way through, so you face a choice of trying to fit a back boxo nto the old exhaust and wait for the old part of the exhaust to fail (IT WILL sooner or later) or spend some money and get a full aftermarket system but please nto a chav tastic one.
Personally imo you need a cat back system.
