I am truely upset. The biggest staple, and first OFFICIAL sign that x-mas is upon us is this timeless jingle:

"Holidays are coming, Holidays are coming, Holidays are coming...."

Complete with huge red lorries. And now its gone. They have changed it. Its just not the same. X-mas is officially dead for me.

Why did they have to change it? :(

*Yes I am on about the Coca Cola Christmas adverts*

I can't think of a single product less Christmassy than fithy, sugar laden, chemical tasting coke!

I always associate those adverts with Christmas. I know the product itself isn't Christmassy, but the advert is a sign it's coming. :p

I know, I noticed this and was outraged :(

I can't remember a single Christmas that hasn't been heralded by the Coca-Cola trucks in my entire memory :/

Perhaps that's why I hate it so much! :p

But then again I am a miserable bugger. :D

EDIT: Any song sounds CHristmassy if you add sleigh bells to it.

It was how i judged when the Christmas season REALLY started, not like everywhere else when it starts at the beginning of November! Outraged!

The new one is awful too, i wouldn't mind if they came up with a similar or better one, but the original is 10 x's the new.

What do we have in place of the Brandenburg Gate and stuff, which I presume is only in the German version? I can't remember :/

A 10 mile traffic jam cos no one can get past those damned lorries tailgating each other?! :D

Well so it should be. Coca Cola invented the Santa Clause we know today - its why he's red and white iirc :p
