I just downloaded a Video from Veoh, Quite a large one too so i want it work.

Now the problem is it doesnt have sound which is ******* me off because there is no point watching it with out it.

The preview so i have no idea why im not getting it.

Please help:(

use gspot (very handy tool and small) program to find out the codecs the video needs and then get them :)

sounds like you do not have the right codec that program will help you on your way :)

try that codec pack i usually manually installed all that stuff any way and my friend told me to try that(after a reformat) which shocked me as im opposed to codec packs.

i can say iv'e never had a problem with it :)

i just remembered something even if i have the right codecs i can come accross similar problems.

for mkv files bs player or win media player doesnt seem to like them for subtitles etc while the zoom player in that codec pack plays it perfect with subs.

also even jet audio can play files bs player doesnt like.

moral of the story is try the file under different players as well :)

what type of file is it btw?
