Any one else got one?

I had one as a kid. Looked it up last month and they relaunched with fancy new machines. The flavours are okay.

But if you have a local cash and carry you can buy pepsi and Coke post mix syrup. Just add 1 part syrup to 5 parts of the soda water.
Its epic tastes identical and cheap cheap. 60 litres for £26 :D

Ahh the memories :p

I remember these.
I still have an unused cylinder in my utilities draw.

Never really liked the taste to be honest.

If the taste is improved, then i may get a new one, as i drink a fair amount of diet coke these days.

They were not popular because who wanted to inhale steam?

Silly Idea

It can reinvent itselfs all day long, you still have to buy the gas and the flavours, water out a of a tap is cheap and easy and some Robinsons cordial and its sound.

yeh the taste of the stuff is pretty bad, thats why im saying you can get the Coca Cola and Pepsi, 10 litre post mix stuff, same as you get at mcdonalds and pubs etc. It tastes identical but cheaper :D
As for cheets64 its not steam bud its carbonated water, you know the same stuff in all fizzy juice thats my typo heh.

I prefer the taste to tins or plastic bottle pepsi. Coke is still godlike from a glass bottle though.

This makes 60 litres of pepsi

I'm sure it's fun but aren't 2 litre bottles of coke about a quid anyway? So 60 litres = £30?

Ha! i didn't know they still had these, i remember my favourite was a Blue one called MR T's Knockout Punch lol! , great stuff.

Yeh you can get pepsi on offer usually for a £1 a bottle same as bru, but its much more fun this way plus it tasted better imo.

Once I tried to refizz some flat normal drink, something like coke. It made a mega mess.

Yeah we had one when I was young. The novelty soon wore off and then you realised that the drinks minged. I think Cream Soda was the worst - yuk.

Sodastream was good but it was nothing compared to Cremola Foam... Now that stuff was awesome!!!!

Bang on, i thought i was the only one remembering that.

Thats why the ol'e sodastream will never be what it was, knockout punch, gremlin stripe, and all the other crazy flavours back then. If sodastream offer up nothing but coke/lemonade substitutes, you'll allways be better with the *special offer down the supermarket.

+1 for the knockout punch... spacejuice, clear light blue drink, berry tasting flavour around 85/6. That was a close 2nd, along with the blackcurrant:)

Exploded an egg yoke with one of these once :D

Who knew you cant make fizzy eggs with out a big mess :p

we still have a Sodastream, it dosnt get used much though

i can get post mix from work coke/diet pepsi/diet R Whites lemonade and schweppes
have never bothered though we just fizz up juice tesco's x2 concentrate mostly
