Food & Drink Sub-forum?

I've noticed A LOT of "cooking with...." threads lately. And everyone likes talking about food.

So we've got a subforum for movies, sports, motors etc...

Why not food & drink?

Thoughts?

As it has been discussed many many times for this sort of thing - few people would use it and it would probably die a death quite quickly.

I think it would be good actually, however I don't think there is MASSIVE demand for it. There aren't that many cooking threads that come up.

Edit - Type "cooking" into the search field in GD. Not all the threads have to be about recipies, the amount of kitchen related questions etc is very high in my opinion.

Why not have a "Domestic" forum? People can waffle on about their hoovers and dustpans as well as food and cooking. Plenty of spec me threads have kitchenware and the like in them...

It's not just cooking threads, people regular make threads about food, wine, beer etc.

e.g. on page 1 at the moment theres a thread about sundried tomatoes and one about oreos

I think it might encourage more discussion of the subjects if there was a designated forum. I'd be suprised if it died completely.

But maybe it wouldn't be enough content.

Given that this is a Tech forum an Apple forum has more validity than a food forum.

.... and their electricty/gas/water bills, decorating, light bulbs and tools.
