In the spirit of taking things too far, here is a fully functional 5-dimensional analog of Rubik's cube.
MagicCube5D is based on many of the concepts and ideas from MagicCube4D.
You wouldn't necessarily have to solve that puzzle first, but it sure would help!
Also, the 4D Cubing Group has had much discussion about MC5D.
Joining and/or searching it is a good way to get further information about this puzzle.
